[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The push button switch having a board (4), an electrically conductive reversing spring (5) placed on the board (4), a first fixed contact (6) provided on the board (4) and constantly in contact with the reversing spring (5), a second fixed contact (7) provided on the board (4) and with which the reversed reversing spring (5) comes into contact, an elastically deformable holding sheet (8) adhered to both the reversing spring (5) and the board (4) and holding the reversing spring (5) at a fixed position on the board (4), and an operation section (16) placed across the holding sheet (8) from the reversing spring (5) and, when pressed, pressing the reversing spring (5), with the holding sheet (8) in between, to reverse the reversing spring (5). The reversing spring (5) is formed in an annular shape. On the inner peripheral side of the reversing spring (5) is provided, for example, a light emission element (20) as a component for light illumination.
