In the underwater rubble mound trimming device used in the underwater rubble mound trimming construction method for pressing and trimming rubble mound dumped into the water with a weight suspended from a crane, the weight consists of a supporting base where a column is erected on a pedestal for pressing the rubble mound and a weight body attached slidably to the column, the weight body is suspended by the main wire of the crane, and the supporting base is suspended by the sub-wire of the crane. After mounting the pedestal of the supporting base at a predetermined position of the rubble mound dumped into the water, the main wire of the crane is pulled to lift the weight body only up to a predetermined height, and then the main wire of the crane is loosened to drop the weight body onto the pedestal of the supporting base, thus trimming the rubble mound with the pedestal.
