An input method of combining words intelligently in input method system is disclosed. It comprises obtaining the combination information of at least two fundamental words from the preset internet corpus, and said combination information comprises matching relation and close co-occurrence of said at least two fundamental words; producing multi-element table according to said combination information; receiving code character string input by user and syncopating said code character string; obtaining corresponding combination information from multi-element table according to said syncopated code character string, extracting corresponding words from the corresponding matching relation of said combination information and taking it as candidate words; this invention can improve effectively the shooting of first chosen word of many characters, words, phrases, short sentence or long sentence input by user, avoid invalid and repeated calculating process and further improve effectively the input efficiency of user.
