Chemo-mechanical surface modification of particles

Chemomechanical production of a functional colloid (I) comprises mechanical reactive crushing of the particles in a dispersant in the presence of a modifier, so this is (partly) bound chemically to the crushed colloid particles. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) chemomechanical production of (I) particles by removing the dispersant from (I); (2) (I) produced by this process; (3) (I) particles produced from (I).
