Spectral analysis for more reliable determination of vital parameters

The device has a computer (110) for computation of a wave ratio between a spectral value of the former spectrum, which has a frequency of a harmonic of multiple harmonics. A spectral value of the latter spectrum has the frequency of the harmonic. The computer computes another wave ratio between a spectral value of the former spectrum, which has a frequency of another harmonic of multiple harmonics, and a spectral value of the latter spectrum, which has the frequency of the latter harmonic. An Optimizer (120) determining the spectral ratio using both wave ratios. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining spectral ratio between two signals with two spectrums which depend on biological size.
