The multiport valve includes: a main body (15); a valve rotor (23) inside said main body; a selector for selectively positioning the valve rotor in one of a plurality of desired operating positions; a hollow space (39) inside said main body, which can be brought in fluid connection with a water inlet port by means of said valve rotor; and a water distributor (41) through which water flows out of the valve or in the valve. The water distributor includes water deflecting surfaces (57A, 59A), which are positioned such as to deflect the water flowing out of said distributor in a radially outwardly oriented direction.
