A compound of formula (II),wherein Z,A,B,R,R₁,R₂,Q and n are described herein.It is an object of certain embodiments of the present invention to provide new compounds which exhibit affinity for the ORL1 receptor and one or more of the μ,δ or κ receptors for treating a patient suffering from chronic or acute pain.
