TOOL FOR THE CHIPLESS SHAPING OF THREADS, IN PARTICULAR FOR THE FORMING OF INTERNAL THREADS

The tool has a clamping shank (1) and a working part (3) which is designed in the form of a shaping region having thread grooves. So that the tool can be produced in a favourable and simple manner, the working part (3) is a component frictionally held on the clamping shank (1) in the axial direction. The thread grooves can be incorporated in the working part (3) without any problems using a grinding wheel. The working part (3) can be fastened to the clamping shank (1) in a simple manner. The tool is used for the chipless shaping of threads.
