The invention relates to new polymeric light-emitting diodes (PLED) which are able to generate light in the different spectral ranges with high efficiency. The structure of such a PLED includes a transparent electrode as the anode, a metal electrode as the cathode, an organic light-emitting layer system, and, if desired, electron and hole injection layers.
