摘要

An automatic inspection system and method for detecting defects on continuously moving transparent sheet materials are provided to enable inspection on a wider area and to prevent an optical camera and optical components. An automatic inspection system for detecting defects on continuously moving transparent sheet materials(101) includes a board supply unit(100), an inspection unit(200), a control unit(300), and a temperature indicator(400). The board supply unit allows the transparent sheet materials continuously inserted to the top side thereof to move in one direction. The inspection unit includes a light source unit(210) and a light receiving unit(220). The light source unit is installed on a bottom side of the transparent sheet materials through the board supply unit. The light receiving unit picks up an image created by receiving the light passing through the transparent sheet materials from the light source unit. The control unit converts the obtained image into numerical data and determines a failure state of the transparent sheet materials by comparing the numerical data with a predetermined numerical data.
