HALF U-TURN UNDERGROUND ROADWAY DIRECTED TO BOTH SIDES CONNECTED WITH TRAFFIC SYSTEM WHEN PEDESTRIAN'S CROSSING IS NEEDED ON THE ROAD

摘要

A bi-directional U-turn half underground roadway related to a traffic system when a pedestrian crossing is needed on the road is provided to progress each function of a half overpass, a half underground U-turn, and a half underground crossing independently without a traffic signal. Bi-directional central first and second lines of a pedestrian crossing are installed with a half overpass(1) in which the half of the overpass is exposed to the upper part of the ground level, and the other half thereof is under the ground level. A half underground crosswalk(3) is installed to be orthogonal to the half overpass. The half of a half underground U-turn roadway(2) is exposed to the ground level, and the other half thereof is under the ground level. The vehicles having a no left turn opportunity and pedestrians are nonstop-progressed by using the half underground U-turn roadway and the half underground crosswalk.
