A method for producing non-swellable mica is provided to allow the application of a low temperature in a hydrothermal reaction by artificially inducing diffusion of reactive ions while inhibiting corrosion of a reactor and a drop in the whiteness of the resultant mica. A method for producing non-swellable mica comprises the steps of: filling a horizontal hydrothermal reactor having a rotation system attached thereto with a mixture of a staring material of mica with a hydrothermal solvent; and carrying out a hydrothermal reaction in the horizontal reactor having a rotation system attached thereto. The starting material of mica is a mixture of an X precursor, Y precursor and Z precursor, wherein the X precursor is at least one selected from a K precursor, Na precursor, Ca precursor and a combination thereof, the Y precursor is at least one selected from an Fe precursor, Mg precursor, Al precursor, Ti precursor, Li precursor and a combination thereof, and the Z precursor is at least one selected from an Si precursor, Al precursor and a combination thereof.
