A plasma control method for remote laser welding and a welding jig for remote laser welding used in the same are provided to improve welding quality substantially at a low cost during the remote laser welding operation by enabling plasma to be controlled through a simple method for forming a negative pressure in a welding zone while performing a remote laser welding operation. In a method for welding car body parts using a remote laser welding apparatus, a plasma control method for remote laser welding comprises: forming a suction hole(11) in a central part of a jig that encircles and fixes weldments, i.e., a position capable of sucking air near a part on which welding is carried out; connecting a pipe(12) to the suction hole; and connecting to the pipe a vacuum unit that is capable of generating vacuum, thereby operating the vacuum unit during a welding operation such that plasma and air sucked in from the circumference of the weldments are exhausted through the suction hole and the pipe by vacuum.
