PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REALTIME SERVICES IN NGN

A quality analysis system for a real-time service in an NGN(Next Generation Network) and an analysis method thereof are provided to analyze transmission quality of subscriber packets for a service provided in real time even without using test packets in the NGN, thereby effectively analyzing quality of a real-time Internet service without increasing a load of a communication network. Plural RTCP(RTP Control Protocol) packet detection analyzers(30,40) detect RTCP packets of a particular service to extract quality analysis basis information, and generate/output quality analysis data from the quality analysis basis information. An NGN management system(20) estimates and provides a packet prediction path if a packet prediction path request is received for the particular service. A quality analysis management system(10) selects the analyzers(30,40) located on the packet prediction path, sends a quality analysis start command to the selected analyzers(30,40), and receives the quality analysis data to conduct quality analysis for the particular service.
