A system for automatically controlling a building with a variable structure through PLC is provided to interchange data for managing the building by using a power line when an obstacle occurs in a communication line. A system includes the power line(30), a plurality of first power line interfaces for connecting each controller(52a-52n,52a'-52n') and the power line, and a second power line interface for connecting Ethernet(20) and the power line. A central control computer(10) is connected to the power line through the second power line interface. Each first power line interface includes a switch(61a,61n,61a',61n') for connecting/disconnecting each controller and the power line. The second power line interface includes the switch(41) for connecting/disconnecting Ethernet and the power line.
