A binding message management method of a mobile router, a recording medium thereof, and a binding message management device of the mobile router are provided to use a limited battery effectively, and to decrease the number of location management messages in the router for supporting plural users, thereby tremendously reducing loads in the router. A log recorder(210) records resident time information of a previous network in a mobile log, when a mobile router(200) moves between plural networks. An average operator(220) operates an average of resident time by visiting time and networks visited by the router(200) by using the mobile log. If the router(200) visits a random network, a life time setup unit(230) sets an adaptive updating period according to the average of the resident time corresponding to the visiting time and the visited network. An authenticator(240) applies the adaptive updating period to a binding update message and an authentication procedure between the router and a correspondent node(290).
