A lens assembly having improved productivity and an auto-focusing controlling apparatus having the same are provided to install a magnet, an operating coil, and a yoke as an operating source of a lens barrel, contact an elastic unit in an upper part of the operating source closely instead of a lower part of the operating source, and accept a lens assembly in a housing by screw connection, thereby reducing the number of constitution parts of the lens assembly. A lens assembly having improved productivity and an auto-focusing controlling apparatus having the same include a lens barrel(210), a first elastic unit(260), and a second elastic unit(270). The lens barrel accepts a focusing lens unit for imaging an object in an image sensor. The first elastic unit is arranged to be contacted to a low surface of a driving unit installed along the circumference of the lens barrel. The second elastic unit is connected to the lens barrel. The lens barrel has a first diameter, a second diameter, and a third diameter.
