A WOOD CHIPPER AND METHOD OF TREE TRIMMING THEREOF

A wood chipper and a tree trimming method using the same are provided to facilitate transportation and to reduce the transport cost by effectively loading cut wood and to simplify the process by blowing wood chips to a loading compartment by the air. A wood chipper(1) is composed of: a chipping unit(10) equipped with at least a pair of chipping cutters(11) rotated by a power supply unit(15) to chip wood and installed at the upper and lower sides with making blades(12) face each other; a wood input port(20) formed at one side of the chipping unit to pour wood into the chipping unit; a discharge pipe(30) connected to the other side of the chipping unit, wherein the front end of the discharge pipe is formed horizontally to discharge crushed wood chips(2) horizontally; a blowing unit(40) installed at the discharge pipe or the chipping unit to blow out the wood chips to the outside through the discharge pipe; a wheel(50) movably installed at the lower end of the chipping unit or the wood input port; and a connecting unit(60) installed at the side of the chipping unit and connected to a vehicle(70) having a loading compartment(71). A base end portion of the discharge pipe is combined with the chipping unit to move horizontally.
