SUPPORTED CATALYST FOR FUEL CELL, METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME, ELECTRODE FOR FUEL CELL COMPRISING THE SAME, MEMBRANE ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY COMPRISING THE ELECTRODE AND FUEL CELL COMPRISING THE MEMBRANE ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY
A supported catalyst for a fuel cell, a method for preparing the supported catalyst, an electrode for a fuel cell containing the supported catalyst, a membrane electrode assembly containing the electrode, and a fuel cell containing the membrane electrode assembly are provided to improve the electrical activity, durability and economical efficiency of a supported catalyst, to manufacture a supported catalyst massively by a simple process and to enhance the output density of a fuel cell. A supported catalyst has a layered structure which comprises a carbon-based support(110); a metal oxide particle(120); and a catalyst metal particle(130) in turn. Preferably the catalyst metal particle is at least one metal particle selected from the group consisting of a main catalyst metal, an alloy of a main catalyst metal and an auxiliary metal, and a main catalyst metal doped with an auxiliary metal; the main catalyst metal is platinum, gold, ruthenium or osmium; and the auxiliary metal is at least one metal selected from the group consisting of cerium, ruthenium, tin, tungsten, titanium, molybdenum, iron, vanadium, manganese, cobalt, chromium, nickel, palladium, rhodium and iridium.
