A method for preparing mesoporous SBA-15 and a VOC(Volatile Organic Compound) adsorbent using the same are provided to increase the adsorbing performance, improve the hydrothermal stability, and facilitate mass transfer. Polymer spherical particles are synthesized by emulsion polymerization. The synthesized polymer spherical particles are regularly arranged by self-assembly through ice-crystallization. The arranged polymer spherical particles are mixed into mother liquid to obtain a template for polymer spherical particles, wherein the template has uniform mesopores. The template is removed through a drying process and a hardening process.
