THE PROCESS OF REDUCING NUCLEAR WASTES INCLUDING URANIUM AND THERADIONUCLIDE

A method for reducing nuclear wastes having uranium and the radionuclide is provided to improve a technical development using a radioactive material or a nuclear energy by reducing a volume and a weight of nuclear wastes. A method for reducing nuclear wastes having uranium and the radionuclide includes the steps of: reacting a radioactive material having uranium or radioactive radionuclide with a fluorine compound and converting the reactive material into a volatile material having a non-reactive heavy metal, and a non-volatile material having the uranium or the radioactive radionuclide; separating the volatile material from the non-radioactive heavy metal; checking a radioactive material or a harmful material of the volatile material and the discharging the volatile material; and solidifying the non-volatile material having the uranium or radionuclide with a solidifying agent.
