An electric power steering apparatus is provided to prevent vibration or noise from being generated by compensating for offset of a motor shaft, a damping coupler and a worm shaft. An electric power steering apparatus comprises a motor shaft(211) that protrudes from one side of a motor(130), and a worm shaft(210) having a worm(201). The motor shaft has a first separation section(301) at the outer peripheral surface thereof. The first separation section has a predetermined length. The worm shaft has a second separation section(303) at the outer peripheral surface thereof. The second separation section has a predetermined length. A damping coupler(213) has a third separation section(305) that engages with the first separation section and the second separation section. At least one of the first to third separation sections is coated with rubber.
