One plate is used for a flat fluorescent lamp having the same, a hot cathode flat fluorescent lamp and a back light unit, is arranged to shorten the original intensity stable time by using the thermionic emission effect of a hot cathode. A plate for a flat fluorescent lamp is a plate of transmission of visible light type. One or more discharge channels (120) are formed in the one surface of plate. One sub-channel is formed in a periphery at an edge (140) for plate, in order to be connected to one end of discharge channel. Discharge channels are onboard installed in parallel with each other. Discharge channels are set in a serpentine structure. Discharge channels are connected to through-hole. One flat fluorescent lamp includes a light source body (110), including discharge channels and a hot cathode (150), is inserted into discharge channel.
