A kind of new material with antioxidant activity is 3 hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl -6-O-2 (4-hydroxylbenzoyl)-β-D- glucopyranosides, the extract of its hot water that the leaf by obtaining Camellia japanica is isolated, extract is fractionated to enter an aqueous solution part and use a buffer solution, it chromatographs cleaning ethyl acetate soluble neutral fraction by a Sephadex LH-20 columns and cleans an active fraction and then pass through HPLC and required product is isolated, using an ethyl acetate soluble neutral fraction of a methanol aqueous solvent, have 8.One pH of 0 (5% sodium bicarbonate) and ethyl acetate.
