摘要

A bio-composite material, and a method for preparing the bio-composite material are provided to improve thermal properties and mechanical properties by enhancing the dispersion of a red alga fiber reinforcing material. A bio-composite material is prepared by using the fiber extracted from red alga. Preferably the fiber extracted from red alga is bleached, has the thermal stability more excellent than that of cellulose and has the crystallinity similar to that of cellulose. The bio-composite material is prepared by (S100) drying a red alga fiber; (S101) pulverizing the dried fiber; (S102) drying, pulverizing and dissociating the obtained red alga fiber; (S200) drying a polymer to remove moisture; (S201) pulverizing the dried polymer to obtain a polymer powder; (S300) mixing the red alga fiber and the polymer powder; (S400) coating the mixture in a metal mold; and (S500) compression molding it.
