METHOD FOR PREPARING POLY VINYL CHLORIDE BASED RESIN HAVING EXCELLENT HEAT RESISTANCE, AND A MOLDED ARTICLE OF THE SAME RESIN

A method for preparing a polyvinyl chloride-based paste resin is provided to realize excellent thermal stability, and to prevent thermal coloring during the manufacture of molded articles including foam wallpaper. A method for preparing a polyvinyl chloride-based paste resin comprises a step of adding a thermal stabilizer selected from the group consisting of a basic compound, a metal salt of fatty acid and a mixture thereof at the late stage of the polymerization of a polyvinyl chloride-based paste resin. The late stage of the polymerization is a point where the reactor pressure becomes 4 kgf/cm^2 or the conversion of monomer into polymer reaches 80-98%.
