An organic/inorganic hybrid photocatalyst is provided to play a role of increasing light utilization up to a wide visual light wavelength range by chemically bonding a visual light-absorbing dye to TiO2 using a silane coupling agent, and a preparation method of the organic/inorganic hybrid photocatalyst as an electrode material of a dye-sensitized solar cell is provided, wherein electrons of the visual light-absorbing dye are excited at lower energy of titania dioxide. A preparation method of a visible light-absorbing dye bonded TiO2 photocatalytic compound comprises the steps of: dispersing anhydrous TiO2 into a toluene solvent, adding a silane coupling agent into the mixture, heating the mixture to a temperature of at least 110 deg.C to reflux the solvent, and cooling and filtering the mixture to prepare silane coupling agent-bonded TiO2; injecting the prepared silane coupling agent-bonded TiO2 into methanol and stirring the silane coupling agent-bonded TiO2 to form the mixture in the form of a colloid, adding a solution obtained by dissolving a visible light-absorbing dye and chromium(III) ethanoate into methanol into the colloid, mixing the solution with the colloid, reacting the solution and the colloid at 80 deg.C for 4 hours, and cooling the mixture to prepare dye-bonded TiO2. The visible light-absorbing dye has a carboxy group or an amino group contained in an end thereof. The visible light-absorbing dye is selected from the group consisting of cis-dithiocyanato-bis(2,2'-bypyridine-4,4'-dicarboxylate)ruthenium(II)(N3 dye), (tri(thiocyanato)-2,2',2"-terpyridyl-4,4',4"-tricarboxylate)ruthenium(II) (black dye), and perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic dianhydride. The silane coupling agent is 3-glycidyl oxypropyl trimethoxysilane.
