An Internet-based business model using a part of a start page as a personal is provided to portal page is provided to increase a value of a homepage as a start page and make users visit a homepage of an Internet portal service company continuously by providing the personal portal space of each user in the homepage of the Internet portable service company. A user performs registration by visiting a homepage of an operator and a server recognizes the user. The server displays the operator homepage by extracting data from an operator homepage database(504). The server inserts a personal portable space into a source code of the homepage. The server assigns a class name to tags inserted into the source code of the homepage. The server extracts personal portal components of the user from a user personal portal component database(503) and inserts the extracted personal portal components into the personal portal space. The server inserts a Java script needed for managing the personal portal components into the operator homepage. The server transmits the operator homepage including the personal portal space to a web browser of the user.
