METHOD FOR SEARCHING CHINESE LANGUAGE USING TONE SIGNS AND SYSTEM FOR EXECUTING THE METHOD

A method and a system for searching Chinese with tone signs are provided to offer a user a desired search result conveniently/quickly by receiving a numeric keyword together with a keyword for searching a Chinese word, recognizes the numeric keyword as a tone signal for a Pinyin keyword included in the keyword, and displaying only the search result for the tone signal as the search result for the Pinyin keyword. A single character search checker(810) checks single character search of a keyword received from a user terminal. A search result provider(820) provides a different search result to the user terminal according to expression of the keyword for the single character search. The single character search includes the search for a Pinyin character based on Pinyin consonant/vowel and Wades-Giles description, one Hangul syllable, or one Chinese character. The single character search checker checks the single character search for the keyword when the keyword made with one Pinyin character, one Hangul syllable, or one Chinese character is extracted by analyzing the keyword.
