A tuner design method using a standard PCB design pattern by a functional block is provided to design a tuner by using reference PCB design patterns related to function blocks, chassis, and wirings and loading the reference PCB design patterns to simplify a tuner design, to reduce the tuner designing time, and to change the design easily. Design information of loading PCB design information is loaded(S110). The PCB design information includes PCB and chassis selection information, functional block selection information, loading order information of the function blocks, placement information, and wiring selection information. The PCB and chassis pattern having the placement area of the functional block PCB design pattern is loaded(S120). The PCB design pattern of the function block is set(S130). The PCB design pattern of the functional block is loaded(S140). The PCB design pattern is placed on the PCB area(S150). It is judged whether the PCB design pattern is a last PCB design pattern(S160). The PCB design pattern of the functional block is set(S170). The wiring pattern is loaded according to the wiring selection information and is placed on the PCB(S180).
