PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING AMLODIPINE OR A PHARMACEUTICALLY ACCEPTABLE SALT THEREOF AND LOSARTAN OR A PHARMACEUTICALLY ACCEPTABLE SALT THEREOF

A pharmaceutical composition comprising amlodipine and losartan is provided to reduce side effects caused by individual single reagent and improve cardiovascular disease-preventing and treating effects by separately including the reagents, thereby release rate of amlodipine and losartan is increased and their stability are enhanced. A pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease comprises amlodipine or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and losartan or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof in a separate form in a weight ratio of 1:10 to 1:60, and is prepared by (a) granulating the amlodipine or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and pharmaceutically acceptable excipients and drying amlodipine granules, and (b) mixing the dried amlodipine granules with mixed powder of losartan or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. Further, the cardiovascular disease is selected from a group consisting of angina pectoris, high blood pressure, deep venous thrombosis, cardiomegaly, congestive heart failure and myocardial infarction.
