An apparatus and a method for controlling a driving apparatus to carry out demonstration action are provided to control operation of a driving device to demonstrate a device in a three-dimensional space by using a demonstration program to test performance of the device by using the auto demonstration function without an additional operation. A method for controlling demonstration action comprises the steps of; receiving a demonstration signal to demonstrate a device(S910); outputting a rotary driving signal of directing the pre-set demonstration action in response to a received demonstration signal(S920); and receiving the outputted rotary driving signal and providing a rotary force for operating the device in a predetermined direction(S930). A sensing signal corresponding to the rotary amount of the device is outputted(S940). A rotation driven signal is blocked(S950).
