DEVICE FOR REMOVING SCALE IN THE PIPE OF CONTINUOUS CASTING PLANT COOLING SYSTEM AND REMOVING METHOD THEREOF

A device for removing scales in a pipe of a continuous casting plant cooling system and a scale removal method thereof are provided to apply high voltage pulse generated from a high voltage generator to the pipe so as to prevent clogging of the pipe. A continuous casting plant cooling system(1) comprises a scale pit(10), a sedimentation tank(20), a gravel filter(30), a cooling tower(40), a spray nozzle(50), a high voltage generator, an electrode, and a deposit removing device(60). The electrode applies high voltage pulse generated from the high voltage generator to the pipe connecting the cooling tower to the spray nozzle. The deposit removing device has a control part of controlling operation of the high voltage generator.
