A wire mat for a reinforced earth retaining wall and a method of constructing the reinforced earth retaining wall utilizing the same are provided to repair a vegetation mat conveniently by pulling a wall member which is hinged at a base member. A wire mat for a reinforced earth retaining wall comprises a wall member(110), a base member(160), a hinge part(120), and support bars(130). A vegetation mat is installed on the rear surface of the wall member. The base member is laid on the ground. The hinge unit allows the wall member to rotate around the base member. The hinge unit includes rings and hinge pins. The rings are attached to the base member and the wall member. The hinge pins are inserted into the rings. The support bars sustain the wall member, on the base member.
