A method for differentiation of neural precursor cells into matured dopaminergic neuron is provided to produce morphologically and functionally matured dopaminergic neuron, so that the matured dopaminergic neuron is useful for treatment of Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, cerebral apoplexy and ischemia. The neural precursor cells isolated from ventral midbrain, cortex or lateral ganglionic eminence of mammals, or embryo are differentiated into matured dopaminergic neuron by simultaneously treating the neural precursor cells with Nurr1, Bcl-XL and SHH(sonic hedgehog), or with Nurr1 and bHLH(basic helix-loop-helix) transcription factor selected from neurogenin 1, neurogenin 2, neuro D1, Mash1, MATH 3 and E47 through gene transfer or transduction. Further, the mammals are rodents and human being.
