A method for preparing a catalyst for the preparation of a polyolefin, a catalyst prepared by the method, and a method for preparing a polyolefin by using the catalyst are provided to prepare a high strength polyolefin efficiently and economically without adding additional comonomer. A method for preparing a catalyst for the preparation of a high strength polyolefin comprises the steps of reacting a metallocene catalyst and a Ћ-alkenyl aluminum compound to prepare a first reaction product; and reacting the first reaction product and a magnesium supported Ziegler-Natta catalyst. Preferably the Ћ-alkenyl aluminum compound is represented by AlR^5R^6_2, wherein R5 is a C4-C20 alkenyl group; and R6 are identical or different each other and are H or a C2-C10 alkyl group substituted with a halogen atom.
