An interference system for polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography is provided to obtain a biological signal at high speed by using an electro-optic-liquid crystal polarization controller to switch polarization states of two orthogonal polarization channels only through electric signals. An interference system for polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography includes a sensing interference unit(100) and a signal analysis unit(300). The sensing interference unit has a beam splitter(16) to split linearly polarized first light emitted from a light source(10) into first and second parts, a mirror(14) to reflect the first part of the first light, a lens to converge the light reflected from the mirror to irradiate the converged light to a sample(19), a sample arm to output second light reflected from the sample to be polarized in a first direction through a first light path, a reference arm to output third light formed by polarizing the second part of the first light in a second direction through a second light path, and a polarizing beam splitter to input the second and third light. The signal analysis unit has a light path compensating unit(310) to compensate for the first and second light paths to generate an interference signal, a linear polarizer(39) to receive the interference signal, and an optical signal detecting unit(350) to convert output of the linear polarizer into an electric signal and detect an interference pattern.
