PAN SENSOR AND RADIANT HEATER HAVING THE SAME AND HEATING COOKER HAVING THE RADIANT HEATER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A pan sensor, a radiant heater having the same, a cooker having the radiant heater, and a control method thereof are provided to install a pan sensor, which outputs a signal to a heating unit through an on/off operation, to sense if the cooker is disposed without a complex circuit. A heating unit(31) includes a radiant heater(310), a pan sensor, and a heater frame(330). The pan sensor is coupled to an upper portion of the radiant heater. The heater frame includes an insulating material provided at the outer portion of the radiant heater to surround the radiant heater. The pan sensor transmits a signal to a cooker(34) having a capacitor in order to detect that the cooker is disposed on a top plate(32). The pan sensor includes a sensor ring(321) and a sensor support. The sensor ring is used to detect the capacitance of the capacitor according to the existence of the cooker. The sensor support is coupled with a screw in order to fix the pan sensor to the radiant heater.
