PROTEIN CLASS ACCURACY IMPROVING METHOD USING MULTIPLE REFERENCE IMAGES IN PROTEIN 2-DE IMAGE SPOT-MATCHING OPERATIONS

A method for supplying accurate protein class in protein 2-DE(2-dimensional electrophoresis) image spot-matching operations is provided to improve accuracy of spot matching and remove errors effectively by using multiple reference images, so that the method is useful for accurate quantitative analysis of disease dependent proteins. A method for supplying accurate protein class in protein 2-DE image spot-matching operations comprises the steps of: selecting multiple reference images based on spot numbers contained in the 2-DE image as quality index; repeatedly performing spot matching for the selected reference images to construct pair transaction database and protein class database; classifying the pairs contained in the pair transaction database into frequent 1-pair class and an error 1-pair class according to the delta-purification algorithm; filtering the error 1-pair class in the protein class database according to the filtering algorithm to remove pairs of the error 1-pair class from the protein class database; removing contradiction generated between the purified protein classes generated by the filtering; and selecting protein classes having a minimum support value as a predetermined critical support value in the protein classes.
