How to make large blocks

A manufacturing method of a large block is provided to reduce the time for transferring the block for painting and increase a turnover rate of a dock by completing pump and pipe works during manufacturing of the block. A manufacturing method of a large block includes the steps of: dividing a block by the maximum movable size and weight according to the type and size of a ship; manufacturing D,A,P by dividing the block into a BTM BLK(Bottom Block)(4), an S/S BLK(Side Shell Block), and a center block; manufacturing integrated unit blocks such as the BTM BLK, the S/S BLK, and the CENTER BLK; and manufacturing the integrated unit blocks into one large block. A painting work of the large block is performed on a moving surface plate.
