An attenuated Salmonella live vaccine is provided to be easily and economically produced and stored and prevent Salmonella infection safely and efficiently when administered to a domestic animal. A method for preparing a Salmonella live vaccine comprises a step of deleting a lon or a cpxR gene from a chromosome DNA of a Salmonella strain such as Salmonella typhimurium, S. typhi, S. paratyphi, S. sendai, S. gallinarium and S. enteritidis. A vector includes a DNA where a DNA fragment linked to a 5'-terminal of the lon gene derived from the Salmonella strain and a DNA fragment linked to a 3'-terminal of the lon gene are bonded.
