A dendrimer, an organic memory device containing the dendrimer, and a method for preparing the organic memory device are provided to reduce switching time, to lower operation voltage, to decrease a manufacturing cost and to improve reliance. A dendrimer comprises a triphenylamine core; and a conjugated dendron containing no hetero atom which is connected with the triphenylamine core. Preferably the dendrimer has a triphenylamine core represented by the formula 1, wherein R1 to R6 are identical or different one another and are a substituted or unsubstituted acetylene, vinylene phenylene, fluorene, phenylene ethynylene, naphthalene, anthracene, tetracene, perylene or pyrene group; and the substituents of R1 to R6 are identical or different one another and are independently a C1-C20 alkyl group, a C3-C20 cycloalkyl group, a C5-C30 heterocycloalkyl group, a C2-C20 alkenyl group, a C6-C20 aryl group, a C5-C30 heteroaryl group, a C7-C20 arylalkyl group or a C7-C30 heteroarylalkyl group.
