A cover of a food waste disposer for a sink and a food waste disposer coupled with the cover are provided to prevent an inner housing space of a sink coupled with a food waste disposer from being exposed to the outside through an opening of the sink. A cover(50) of a food waste disposer(20) for a sink comprises a cover body composed of a fixed plate member(60) and a movable member(70), and a ball plunger. The cover body is located in an opening(14) connected to an inner housing space(13) of a sink(10) to close up the opening to prevent the inner housing space of the sink coupled with the food waste disposer from being exposed to the outside through the opening. The ball plunger is composed of a casing coupled to the movable member, a ball installed to be movable to approach or to space out from the fixed plate member, and a spring placed in the casing to bias the ball elastically to approach the fixed plate member.
