WIRELESS NETWORK INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS IN REAL-TIME MULTIMEDIA SERVICES

A network context information transmission method in a real-time multimedia service using a wireless communication network and a device therefor are provided to reduce unnecessary information as possible by shortening transmission intervals without violating standards used in a real-time multimedia transmission service, thereby decreasing loads for a limited wireless network. Session connection for data transmission and channel environmental information is performed between a server and at least one client, and session information is requested by a random client(602). Overall session information belonging to each channel of a network is confirmed(604,606). Session information of the corresponding channels is included in an RTP(Real-time Transport Protocol) packet, from the overall session information, and the RTP packet is transmitted to the client who demands the session information(608).
