CIRCULATION METHOD OF TEST TRAYS IN A SIDE-DOCKING TYPE TEST HANDLER AND OPERATING METHOD OF TEST HANDLER

A test tray circulation method and an operation method of a side-docking type test handler are provided to reduce the height of soak/desoak chambers and the soaking time and to shorten the total test time by continuously transferring test trays to the test position. In a test tray circulation method of a side-docking type test handler, at least one posture change process for changing the posture of a test tray(TT) in a vertical state, into a horizontal state at a path for transferring the test tray from a test position(TP) to an unloading position(UP) is composed of steps for inclining the test tray in a horizontal state at a loading position(LP) of a circulation path including loading, test, and unloading positions, at the first angle of 0 to 90 degrees; translating the inclined test tray toward the test position in a circulation path; vertically changing the test tray translated toward the test position, before sending the test tray to the test position; and transferring the vertically changed test tray to the loading position through the test and unloading positions in a circulation path.
