PURPOSE: A receiving electric field strength display method of a mobile communication terminal is provided to display a receiving electric field strength in various forms such as an image or in a numeric value. CONSTITUTION: A controller detects an electric field strength by predetermined periods(201). The controller checks whether a currently set receiving electric field strength display mode is an image mode(203). If the currently set mode is the image mode, the controller displays a pre-set image in a color or shading corresponding to a measured electric field strength(205). If the receiving electric field strength display mode is not the image mode(203), the controller checks whether the mode is a text mode(207). If the receiving electric field strength display mode is the text mode, the controller displays a numeric value in a color corresponding to the electric field strength(209). If the receiving electric field strength display mode is not the text mode(207), the controller displays an antenna bar corresponding to the electric field strength.
