WRAPPER CREATING APPARATUS FOR EXTRACTING A WEB-INFORMATION IN MOBILE WEB-SERVER BASED USER INTERFACE AND METHOD THEREFOR

A device and a method for generating a wrapper extracting general web information in a mobile web server based on a user interface are provided to extract and offer the information to a mobile terminal anytime through a checked path by previously checking the path/factor for the predetermined web information from an HTML(HyperText Markup Language) document based on a GUI(Graphic User Interface). A display part(110) displays a GUI screen for extracting the path/factor of the web information posted in a website. An input part(120) inputs/selects various commands/items for extracting a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) and the path/factor of the web information in the GUI screen. A wrapper generator(133) generates the wrapper based on the extracted path by connecting to the website according to the inputted URL and accessing the web information according to a search path selected by a web manager. A web information path extractor(140) extracts the path according to items selected from the web manager by parsing/using tags of the HTML document, and transfers the path to the wrapper generator. A wrapper database(150) stores the wrapper, which is path information comprising a sequence of the HTML tags to the items from a root node in the HTML document.
