GRINDING MACHINE OF ULTRA-PRECISION TRANSFER APPARATUS

An ultra-precision transfer apparatus of a grinding machine is provided to prevent defects by preventing a gap between a worm wheel and a worm gear. A grinding machine includes a gear box(30) having a horizontal shaft(10) and an adjustment unit for adjusting a worm wheel(20). The adjustment unit includes a mounting opening, a bearing cover(200), a bolt(300), a worm gear(40), and a worm shaft(60). The mounting opening is formed at one side of the gear box, and has a plurality of recesses. The bearing cover is fitted into the mounting opening, and has a plurality of recesses mated to the recesses of the mounting opening. The bolt penetrates through the recesses of the bearing cover, and is screwed into the recesses of the mounting opening so as to join the bearing cover and the gear box. The worm gear is screwed into the bearing cover, and engaged with the worm wheel. The worm shaft has a rear end with a precision handle(50) for handling of the worm gear.
