A system and a method for inspecting a distribution line and detecting defective facilities are provided to inspect the lines by using a high-frequency noise analyzer and to detect the defective facilities by periodically managing and analyzing noise signals of each electric pole. A system(20) for inspecting a distribution line and detecting defective facilities comprises a high-frequency noise monitoring receiver(22) continuously monitoring whether amplitude modulation type radio noise frequency exists in a received high-frequency signal or not, and registering frequency over the set magnitude, in a monitor list; a noise signal comparing and grade judging receiver(25) comparing the magnitudes of the high-frequency signal and a voice signal separated from the noise signal of the set frequency by continuously monitoring the registered frequency and then generating an alarm by classifying the magnitudes according to each grade; and an analyzing and recording device(23) marking information obtained through the receivers, on a topographical map and analyzing and recording the detected result.
