A table structure for a marching cube method modified to be adapted to volume ray casting is provided to improve a rendering speed through leaping when all of sample points among semi-transparent cells belong to only a transparent region. A table structure for a marching cube method modified to be adapted to volume ray casting includes an index table and a side-table. The value of the index table is determined according to whether eight voxels constructing a cell are transparent. The side-table uses the result value of the index table as an input value and has information about twelve sides constructing the cell in response to the input value as an output value. The side-table includes a first field having information about the number of triangles and second through thirteenth fields respectively including twelve sides. Each of the second through thirteenth fields includes first and second sub-fields respectively having two vertexes constructing the side corresponding to each of the second through thirteenth fields, and a third sub-field indicating which of the two vertexes is transparent.
